Mission Statement
The HVHOA’s mission is to perpetuate a healthy, safe and beautiful community where residents are empowered to connect with neighbors, get involved, act responsibly, and participate in financial contributions.
Hunter's Vineyard was built in 1985 as a retirement community. State of the art construction and the promise of a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood gave residents the confidence to call this place home.
In the early years of the subdivision, residents came together and raised money for a beautification project. They wanted the outside of the neighborhood to look as nice as the inside.
They banded together to raise over $10,000 between them and commissioned the construction of what is now the perimeter, consisting of beautiful landscaping and a vibrant arrangement of flowers, plants, and trees stretching across Central Drive and Hambrick Road.
Though it was everything they wanted, it was clear that if the perimeter was to stand the test of time, the landscaping would require consistent upkeep.
And so, the Hunter's Vineyard Homeowners Association was created!
For the past 30 years, the HVHOA, a legal, nonprofit organization, has been led by a Board of Directors, comprised of Hunter's Vineyard residents who have volunteered countless hours of their time and attention.
Hundreds of meetings have been held in dozens of homes, driveways, and yards across the subdivision.
Cookouts have filled the streets with aromas of tasty food and sounds of neighborly friendships.
Unique traditions, like decorating our mailboxes with red ribbons in the holiday season, have been established.
And of course, the perimeter landscaping has been cared for and attended to, ensuring that every pedestrian and driver passing by knows how special Hunter's Vineyard is.
All residents of Hunter's Vineyard are considered members of the HVHOA. Everyone is invited to join in on the conversations about the neighborhood we share at our regularly scheduled meetings.
See our Event Calendar to find out when the next meeting will be held.
